Up for bids is this sharp 560SL in the rare color of Desert Taupe Metallic (441), with Brazil Brown leather (273).
The car was bought new in Portland, Oregon and spent most of its time in the dry climate of Eastern Oregon. It's been in the care of one family since 1988.
The car comes with an unused tool kit, original soft top, the original spare that's never been on the ground, plus books, manuals, and service records from new.

All four wheels are in great condition, and wear Michelin MXV4 tires.
Headights and signal lenses are all clean and clear with no flaws.
Some rock chips are present on the air dam, but no cracks or damage.
Original Bosch wiper blade holders, expensive to replace if missing.
Both tail light lenses are in excellent condtion.
Typical dings and scratches in the area where the hardtop mounts. The perimeter seal around the soft top lid is in great shape with no wear.
The car wears mostly original paint. The hood and fenders were repainted due to rock chips from being out in a rural area, a slight variation in color is the only indication that it's been painted at all. The car shows all of the factory VIN stickers on all body panels, and both bumpers.
Very straight body with no damage. Zero rust anywhere on the car.
There are some paint chips on the body behind both rear tires. Factory touch-up paint is included.
The trunk area looks like new.
Original Pirelli spare.

Original floor mats.
The soft top is original, as shown by the "Polyglas Wopavin" markings on the windows. It's in exceptional condition and has perfect fit.
The hard top is in excellent condition as well.
All original interior in Brazil Brown.
All gauges work, all power options work, AC blows cold, etc.
Original Becker Grand Prix. Working climate control and cold AC.
The power windows work great.
Never smoked in.
No cracks on the dash.
The 5.6L V8 fires to life immediately and runs excellent. No issues, just turn the key and go.
Clean and dry undercarriage with zero rust issues. No leaks either, this car will not drip on your floor.
